How to disable dovecot, exim, email và build remove trong directadmin

Với việc email spam đang là vấn nạn của nhà cung cấp hosting, máy chủ hiện nay thì email exim hay dovecot trên directadmin không còn là sự lựa chọn đáng tin cậy nữa. Bởi mức độ gửi email lọt vào spam và gây ảnh hưởng tới hệ thống. Vì vậy SPS hướng dẫn các bạn disable nếu đã cài đặt hoặc gỡ bỏ hoàn toàn như sau:
# service dovecot stop
# chkconfig dovecot off
# cd /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/
# perl -pi -e ‘s/dovecot=ON/dovecot=OFF/’ services.status
# service directadmin restart

Cách thứ 2: Chúng ta có thể build lại directadmin và gỡ hoàn toàn trên hệ thống.
#cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
#./build update
#./build set_service dovecot delete
#./build set dovecot no
#./build set dovecot_conf no
#./build set roundcube no
#./build set squirrelmail no
– Bạn có thể check lại như sau:
./build list_removals
và sẽ nhận được kết quả:
Dovecot installed, but not enabled in options.conf: ‘./build remove_dovecot’
Tiếp theo:
./build remove_dovecot
./build remove_roundcube
./build remove_squirrelmail
